Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ)

•Operating within Foreign Trade Zones, requires CAPL associates to undergo a series of mandatory and best-practice screenings, including, but not limited to:

  Thorough third-party screening procedures

      •Drug tests (follow-up yearly testing program)

      •Background check

      •Ethics analysis

  Transportation Workers Identification Credential (“TWIC”)

  Customs Enforcement CF-3078 Background Check

  E-Verify Screening in association with IMAGE

ICE Mutual Agreement between Government & Employers (IMAGE)

•On December 6th, 2012 CAPL signed a Mutual Agreement with the Federal Government, through its IMAGE program, to partner in the enforcement of United States Immigration laws

•CAPL is one of the first companies to sign the Mutual Agreement and has actively promoted the program within the Puerto Rican Auto Industry as well as others

•All CAPL associates as well as sub-contracted business partners undergo the IMAGE screening through the E-Verify web-based portal

Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT)

•CAPL works hard to meet and exceed Federal Government requirements by;

   Developing a C-TPAT manual for the Port and Vehicle Distribution Center

     Operation

   Conducting risk assessments and security audits on vehicles, processes

    and personnell
